| On this page you can find some information about my work with Dyalog APL - the most popular and convenient APL around. What is Dyalog APL: Dyalog APL, the leading implementation of the APL programming language, is available for PCs under Microsoft Windows 3.1, NT and Windows 95 and for most popular UNIX systems. I've started to work with Dyalog APL in 1995, since then it was a lot of projects, but now I am trying to learn J. But anyway, here is some of my work with this APL. 1. DGLAUX ![]() This workspace provides a higher level interface to OpenGL from Dyalog APL/W. 'DGLAUX' utilities consist of some functions that allow you to draw basic 3-D figures such as Sphere, Cube, Octahedron, Dodecahedron and analytically given surfaces. You can draw each of given figures in solid form as well as in wire form. I also provide basic light managing functions. I provide some functions that hides from you all low level Window-OpenGL initialization and management functions. User can think only in APL and OpenGL form while developing application. Basically you have to provide function that perform your OpenGL drawing, and optional the functions that executes when form been resized and when any key been pressed. GLAUX requires Dyalog APL/W Version 8.1, and of course OpenGL must be installed on your PC. Download DGLAUX now! 2. API Utils This contains a small set of utilities that call Windows API functions using 'quad'NA. This workspace requires Version 8.1 Release 2 or later. ![]() Download API Utils now! 3. Lines You can't be serious all time - you need something to relax with. So I wrote the game called Lines. This program was written with OpenGL graphics. The goal of this game is to build a continuous chain of minimum 5 same colored spheres(you can use diagonals as well). After your move computer puts randomly another 3 spheres. ![]() Download Lines now! And this is real application for roof design. The visualization part of this program was written with OpenGL. I've implemented full 3D movement - you can move left, right, forward, backward, up, down, step left, step right, look up, look down - pretty cool yeah! Here is a snapshot: ![]() Sorry, no downloads :-((. 4. OutlookBar The OutlookBar Control lets you easily build a modern user interface like those used in Microsoft Outlook 98 and Project 98. Currently it is under development and available in v.0.99. But even now now it is fully functioning. ![]() Download OutlookBar now! |
